#3.31 Musical Statues

Bluey Recap: Musical Statues (#3.31)

#bestbits: Chilli’s dance moves, especially the pulp fiction montage
#lifelesson: sometimes we all need a little boogie, and cereal is DEFINITELY a dinner food
It’s evening and Chilli and the girls have just arrived home from grocery shopping.
Bandit is making a protein shake in preparation for a run, Bingo wants to play crazy pillow and invent a “forever weekend” and Bluey is lolling about wondering what to do with herself.
To try and regain momentum and cheer everyone up, Chilli suggests a game of musical statues which is initially met with groans. She hustles them into the living room and gives Bandit the job of music stopper.
The first dance attempt is met with shuffling, until Chilli changes the music and really starts dancing (“Shake it Chilli!!!”). Bingo joins in but Bluey is still shuffling unenthusiastically.
The music stops and Bingo gets caught out “raising the roof” so she becomes a music stopper with Bandit.
Bingo (Ringo) makes a song choice that finally motivates Bluey (Louey) to start dancing and Bandit takes on a cool DJ persona. As the music stops this time, both Chilli and Bluey manage to freeze mid boogie and Bingo goes to inspect that no one is moving. She then gets stuck in their boogie trap, leaving everyone giggling.
Bandit takes on the challenge and joins the dance floor, busting out some old school dance and rap moves. Just as he is doing the worm, the music stops. Chilli offers to stop the game so Bandit can go for a run, but he decides that dancing is just as good a workout!
The only problem is that they all want to dance - no one wants to be the music stopper!
Chilli checks the imaginary rule book and it states that you can play without having a music stopper, and that there are no winners or losers, it’s just about the music.
After a big family boogie, they all collapse and Chilli declares that cereal is for dinner - hooray!!!
